Transparency
Affiliate Disclosure
ReptiNest is a reptile product discovery platform. To keep our guides and recommendations free, we may earn commissions through affiliate relationships. This page explains how that works — and how we keep recommendations focused on what is right for your animal.
Multiple affiliate programs
ReptiNest participates in multiple affiliate programs. We may link to a range of reputable retailers, brands and manufacturer affiliate programs — not a single store.
How commissions work
Some product links are affiliate links. When visitors make qualifying purchases through those links, ReptiNest may receive a commission. Customers do not pay more because they use an affiliate link — the price you pay is the same.
Commission does not decide rankings
Commission rates may vary between retailers, and a higher commission does not automatically determine which product is recommended. Product recommendations prioritize species suitability, husbandry, safety, quality, reliability and value.
Retailer choice
ReptiNest may link to different retailers depending on product availability, price, shipping and suitability for the species. Where a product is available from more than one retailer, we may show multiple options so you can compare.

We are retailer-independent in our approach: when possible, we compare products across multiple reputable stores rather than recommending a retailer simply because it offers an affiliate commission. Affiliate commissions may still be earned, so we do not claim to be completely unbiased or financially independent — instead we focus on transparency and species-appropriate recommendations.
Per-program disclosures
Retailer-specific disclosures
Some affiliate programs require their own disclosure statement. ReptiNest will publish any legally or contractually required disclosure for an individual affiliate program here once we have officially joined that program. We do not display statements claiming participation in a retailer's affiliate program until that participation is confirmed.
No retailer-specific disclosures have been added yet.
This section will be updated as ReptiNest officially joins individual affiliate programs.
